Learning Please at Cheese Please
Cheese Please is not only a fantastic cheese shop in Lewes, its proprietor Fiona Kay is well on the way to completing her certificate in First Line Management from the Institute of Leadership and Management with Sussex Downs College.
Fiona has been running the shop in the High Street since 2007, previously located in the Needlemakers. They sell the best of British cheeses and continental classics in a specialist environment.
Fiona is really enjoying the learning experience, studying a range of skills such as leadership, communication, motivation, coaching, managing performance, planning and time management, problem solving, decisions making and understanding costs. All these areas are critical for successful business planning.
