Health, Safety and Welfare Policy
Sussex Downs College is committed to providing a healthy and safe workplace for all employees, students and visitors.
With the backing of the Corporation and with your co-operation, the College intend to ensure that we comply with all relevant health, safety and welfare at work legislation not only because of the legal obligations but also because we believe that every employee is entitled to a safe and healthy place in which to work.
The Corporation has approved a Health, Safety and Welfare Policy, which describes the organisation and arrangements for carrying out this commitment.
Some of the major aspects of this Policy are described below and more detail is provided in the Policy itself and in accompanying policies, codes and procedures.
