To apply for a course please download and complete the application form. You will need to return your completed form to the International Office along with your deposit payment.
Student Visas
If you are a Visa National wishing to study in the UK for more than six months, you are required to apply for a student visa under Tier 4 of the Points Based System (PBS).
To apply for a student visa, you must first obtain a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) from a registered sponsor.
Sussex Downs College has been awarded an A grade sponsorship licence from the UK Border Agency, indicating that the college fully meets the licensing requirements. This is in addition to being included on the Highly Trusted Sponsors list.
When making your visa application you will be required to show that you have:
- A Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS)
- Sufficient funds to cover your course fees for the first period of study
- Sufficient funds to pass a maintenance test to show that you have £600 per month for living expenses for up to nine months of your study
- Original certificates (not copies) to show that you have met the entry requirements for your chosen course
- A good track record in studying
