Sports Development at Sussex Downs College
Combining sports development with academic achievement
As a college we have an excellent record in combining academic achievement with a balanced programme of sports development. We offer a range of specialist programmes in a variety of sports, where you can combine high standard sport coaching with your academic studies. The courses are organised in such a way to fit into your programme of study.
Playing sport can promote leadership skills and improve physical development and provide young people with a broad range of social skills. Positive sporting experiences can also help interaction; increase self confidence, self esteem and the development of positive social values.
