Software Development lecturer with programming skills wanted to teach exciting and award winning course at Sussex Downs College Lewes. Applicants should have a degree in a related subject (or equivalent) and a teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards one).

You will be working with an enthusiastic cohort of students who are taking their first steps in programming but who will work on apps under your supervision. You will assess them on course work and in the BTEC framework and will lead them into the current world of modern programming and software development practices. You will work with students and show them how to manage increasingly complex development projects.

We are not looking for any specific language but we are interested in programming and development. Generally we would like the successful candidate to have an interest in emerging technology including one or more of the following: 3D printing, wearables, JavaScript, Python & Ruby. Some skills and knowledge of Web Application architecture and technologies are also desirable.
