English for speakers of other languages (ESOL) courses are for adults who are not fluent in English and want to improve their language for work, study or living in the UK. We offer a range of part-time ESOL courses at every level in the daytime or evening.
You will learn with other students who have the same level of English. Our teachers are very experienced and they use the most up-to-date materials and a variety of approaches to make sure that your classes are interesting, motivating and effective. Classes include group, pair and project work and computer-based activities.
What are the entry requirements?
You must have the right to study in the UK and be 16 years or older.
What exams will I take?
You will take a national ESOL Skills for Life qualification.
How long are the courses?
Courses are between eight and twelve weeks long for six hours per week
Where can I go next?
When you have finished your course, you could move on to a higher level in ESOL. You could progress to Functional Skills or GCSE. You might find a job, or you might go onto further education.
