15 to 19 years
If you would like to join a course at Sussex Downs College, but don’t know which one to choose, you can ask for a guidance session. Our friendly staff will listen to you, and help you to work out the best course for you.
Students are invited to apply online to the College via UCAS Progress (from 3 October) – www.ucasprogress.com

You can print the Application Form and fill in the details using a Black pen (in Capital Letters) and then return the completed form to the college.
Download an Academic Reference Form
You will also need to send a reference form to your school (if applicable) who will need to fill in and return the form to the college.

Applying for Access to Higher Education (University)
We recommend you come along to one of our Information Sessions which are held throughout the year. Then our free Pre-Access course in June will help you to decide whether our Access course is the best route for you into Higher Education. As soon as you have been offered a place on the Access course you will need to enrol. Contact us for details on our information sessions.
Applying for Higher Education and University Level courses
Student Services can help with advice on applying for Higher Education courses. Application for University courses must be made through UCAS.
Applying for Employer Training
We offer a comprehensive choice of training programmes, delivered by qualified trainers who are selected for their specialist knowledge and industry experience. Some of the training is available on an open basis, such as our scheduled courses, but training can also be tailored to suit the specific needs of your organisation, and delivered at a time and place to suit you and your employees.

Applying for International College
To apply for a course please download and complete the application form. You will need to return your completed form to the International Office along with your deposit payment.
