The Browne report discussion at Park College
Professor Trevor Burnard came to speak to Park College students and parents on the Browne report which was the independent review of higher education and student finance in December 2010.
The Browne report set out a number of recommendations on the future fees policy and financial support for full and part-time students which have now been adopted by Government as part of the tuition fee debate.
Professor Burnard gave the audience an overview of the changes that will affect higher education in the coming years, including the balance of contributions to higher education funding by taxpayers, students, graduates and employers.
