Digital Media Design FdA

If you have an interest in using computers as a creative tool, this course offers an exciting and dynamic range of skills development covering both the creative and technical aspects of digital media design, including website design, digital video, animation techniques, DVD authoring and interactive design. It is broad-based and encompasses the full range of disciplines within digital media design, from graphic design principles through to the creation of complex interactivity.

The emphasis is on developing ideas and acquiring the skills needed to execute them in a professional manner. The combination of modules develops the conceptual, analytical, technical and design skills required for entry to work in the field.

Course structure

The modules covered in the first year give you a solid grounding in design and software, then the second year offers the chance to develop more specialist skills in digital media design practice.
