Students create software solutions using an object-oriented approach to design and analysis. The games industry is studied to give you an awareness of the nature and position of this sector in the computing world. The practical application of skills is emphasised.
Career and progression opportunities
Career opportunities include programming, software development, systems integration and testing, sales support, quality assurance and compliance, and configuration management.
Successful completion of a foundation degree also allows you progression to an honours degree. Should you wish to continue your study you may consider applying for the bachelor’s degree programme in Computer Science (Games) or other software related disciplines at the University of Brighton.
